3D Printing

I became interested in 3D printing several years ago when I was earning my Industrial Design Engineering certificate and just learning the basics of 3D CAD modeling.  The first thing I printed was a 45 Adapter on a large Dimension industrial 3D printer.  Since then, they have become more affordable and now I am constantly finding new uses for FDM 3D printing technology as it helps me rapid prototype new products and helps me to quickly iterate and resolve design decisions.  I 3D print on a near daily basis and constantly share my own 3D designs to the open-source community on Thingiverse.com
